Photo of the day: "Outrunning the Sea," by Brian Krummel

Outrunning the Sea, by Brian Krummel

Today's photo of the day is entitled "Outrunning the Sea," and is by Brian Krummel. Brian's based out of Pittsburgh and is a man after my own heart; he shoots using everything from modern SLRs to antique Kodaks to homemade pinhole cameras. He has a personal website, although it seems to be down right now; and most interestingly, I think, Brian used to pursue a career as a photographer but then gave it up, finding that it was interfering too much with his enjoyment of photography as a creative format. Good for you, Brian!

Don't forget that I actually maintain a whole page of favorite photographs over at Flickr, for those who would like to see more. To express an interest in having your own work featured, just drop me a line at cclapcenter [at] gmail.com.
