Today's photo of the day is entitled "Wilson Avenue L Station, Chicago, 1988" and is by a photographer who goes by "Genial23" at their Flickr account. Genial is originally from Chicago, but now lives in the Queens area of New York; for those who are curious, this image is of the neighborhood where I currently live, with a skyline that's remarkably similar to how it looks now (although with a lot of stuff you see in the foreground updated by now).

Don't forget that I actually maintain a whole page of favorite photographs over at Flickr, for those who would like to see more. To express an interest in having your own work featured, just drop me a line at cclapcenter [at] gmail.com.
