It's Monday Wednesday, which means it's time for another episode of the CCLaP Podcast. And hey, it's a special St. Louis version of the podcast this week as well, where I had the chance to talk with an old friend of mine, musician and jazz critic Ken Kase. This is a music-heavy episode, just to let you know in advance; it features four songs of Ken's, including a sneak preview of the brand-new "Shiner" (from his upcoming EP Five Songs About Chicago), as well as a special acoustic version of his hit "Pauline," performed exclusively for this podcast. And don't forget, if you download the MP4 version (linked to below) and listen to it through iTunes, an iPhone or a video iPod, you'll have access to chapters and links and photos as well!

There are few who understand pop music to the level of Ken Kase. It is a crime he is not on the lips of every music fan in the world. Thank you for shining a light on this talented pop genius. St. Louis is lucky to host him and Chicago is lucky to have caught his attention.
