The good news: CCLaP is updating again. The bad news...

So first of all, my hearty thanks to all of you who have been sticking in there these last two weeks, while CCLaP has been going through some technical difficulties; turns out that my home internet connection is off, because of a tech malfunction with a freelance client of mine who provides it, meaning a near-total shutdown of all my online activities (since I have neither an office job nor a laptop). In fact, it turns out that it's going to be yet another two weeks from now before my home connection is back on; I've decided, though, that this is simply too long a time for CCLaP to be on hiatus, which is why I've decided to start a "lite" publishing schedule for the center starting today, being done through various internet cafes here in my neighborhood.

I say a "lite" schedule, of course, because I'm simply not going to be able to publish as much or as often as I do when having a regular internet signal at home; for example, there will be no "photo of the day" or "obsession of the moment" entries for the next two weeks, simply because I don't have enough time online these days to even pick them, and there may not be streaming versions of upcoming podcast episodes either, depending on how finicky these computers are at the cafe I'm at right now where I'm doing all my media uploading. It's a compromise to be sure, a frustrating one at that; I appreciate you being patient with the matter, and promise you that CCLaP will be back to its regular schedule in just a couple of more weeks.

And speaking of which, at least one good thing has come out of this recent blackout; it's finally given me the time to sit down and finish up the Flash programming for the much-anticipated CCLaP virtual photography gallery, as well as integrating the small audio interviews that will be attached to each image in the first show. And that means, believe it or not, that the center will finally have a working gallery for you to explore and enjoy starting this coming Monday, November 5th; it's been a long time coming, and is something I hope you will enjoy as much as I've enjoyed putting it together.

Thanks again for your patience regarding this little no-budget, one-man operation of mine; as always, feel free to drop a line at cclapcenter [at] gmail.com to send along either words of criticism or support.
