Turns out that author Cassie Edwards has been taking pages and pages of other historical documents over the years and inserting them verbatim into her Native American romance novels, uncited. She claims she didn't realize it was illegal; hmm, I don't know about that.

NBC tried to cancel the awards altogether. Then Dick Clark Productions tried to extort a million-dollar licensing fee from NBC. Now the HFPA is opening the event to all media. I love watching greedy immoral people turn on each other.

And that's #1 in the US and UK in the same week, after spending months giving away millions of free copies online. Also, 25 percent of all US retail sales were at freaking iTunes. Zah!
