Yet more interestingness: 13 February 2008

Below are simple links to other interesting stuff I've come across on the web in the last day or two; they may or may not concern literature or photography, or indeed the arts at all. You can click here to learn more about how I compile this list and what software I use, if you're interested.

Details of LOST's post-strike production schedule emerge
Producer Carlton Cuse gives exclusive interview to TV Guide like an hour after the strike ends; in a nutshell, five more new episodes after the eight that already exist, all of them airing before the end of May. THAT'S A FAST PRODUCTION SCHEDULE.

Spore finally being released September 7th; no, really, it is
I'm looking forward to this game; the newest by "SimCity"s Will Wright, it starts with you as a one-celled organism and goes all the way to space exploration.

There's a Starbucks at Guantanamo Bay
Boing Boing reminds us of one of the most chilling aspects of the "secret" US torture facility at Guantanamo Bay; that it has a Starbucks, McDonalds, Pizza Hut and gift store. Banality of evil indeed.

Cuse: "LOST will have no more than 13 episodes this season"
Even more interesting, they're keeping the original storyline, meaning that they'll be packing almost twice the usual amount of information into each episode. Eek!

Your worst nightmare: HotOrNot.com acquired for $20 million
Sexist frat boys with stupid, pointless site become rich, rich, rich. Don't you love the Web 2.0?
