Photo of the day: "venice beach fishing," by Sheila Bocchine

venice beach fishing, by Sheila Bocchine

Today's photo of the day is entitled "venice beach fishing," and is by Sheila Bocchine. Sheila's got a whole interesting backstory behind where she is now and what she's doing, one that spans the entire country; she got her Bachelor's in Chicago (Columbia College), her Master's in New York (Pratt), now lives in Arizona, and took this particular picture in California (and with a pinhole camera, no less). Whew! Sheila has a personal website and blog where you can learn a lot more; she is also part of the Phoenix commercial organization four white walls.

Don't forget that I actually maintain a whole page of favorite photographs over at Flickr, for those who would like to see more. To express an interest in having your own work featured, just drop me a line at cclapcenter [at] gmail.com.
