Yes, hard to believe, but the season premiere of "Battlestar Galactica" is finally airing tonight (I'm watching it over at my friend Jude's, my only friend with cable); here, the NYT does a great overview of the first three seasons and why people go so nuts over the show to begin with.

Monster.com hires truck with giant speakers to sit outside Craigslist offices
Craigslist finally has an official blog, and here's the funniest item on it so far; turns out that losing job-posting competitors Monster.com recently hired a truck with giant speakers to park outside the Craigslist offices and blast music. Photo included!

It's official: iTunes now largest music retailer in US
They just overtook Wal-Mart for the first time this month, in fact. Did you know that they've sold four billion freaking songs since they opened in 2003? Neither did I!

Tobacco moves one step closer to getting regulated like a drug
Sweeping new bill passes House committee, will now move on to the Senate. The irony? All three major presidential contenders are co-sponsors of the bill, the same bill Bush opposed earlier this decade.
