Photo of the day: "LA Cathedral," by Ken McCown

LA Cathedral, by Ken McCown

Today's photo of the day is entitled "LA Cathedral," and is by Ken McCown. Ken is a professional designer and architecture professor, associated with the neutraVDL Design Center in Los Angeles, who shoots architectural photographs as a hobby; this particular image is a detail from the postmodernist Los Angeles Cathedral, home of the LA Archdiocese and a replacement for the previous cathedral which was destroyed in a 1994 earthquake.

Don't forget that I actually maintain a whole page of favorite photographs over at Flickr, for those who would like to see more. To express an interest in having your own work featured, just drop me a line at cclapcenter [at] gmail.com.
