The May television "sweeps" numbers are in, and the news is apocalyptic: EVERY SINGLE NETWORK lost at least 10 percent of their viewers in the last year, even as viewership of niche cable shows are up almost 10 percent.

More news about "Watchmen" -- Aint It Cool News has a new image up of the film's "Minutemen," the first group of masked heroes that formed in 1939 to eventual disaster. Oh MAN does it look cool.

Holy crap, "Watchmen" is shooting a lot of extra footage
So all you comic-book nerds probably know by now that Alan Moore's "Watchmen" is getting made into a film; but did you know they're shooting a full-length "Black Freighter" movie, a full-length "Under the Hood" documentary, and a series of "animated comic" webisodes for the uninitiated as well?
Mad Max come to life: Red Cross starts offering gasoline for blood
Can the symbolism get any more obvious? The American Red Cross has decided to start raffling off free gasoline as an incentive to give blood. "Greetings from Lord Humungus, the Warrior of the Wasteland! The gasoline will be OURS!"
