CCLaP turns one: Meet Amy Güth

It's CCLaP's first anniversary this week, and I'm celebrating by inviting local readers to have a drink with me down at Chicago's Printers Row Book Fair this weekend; you can click here for the details, but basically it's at Kasey's Tavern, 701 S Dearborn, Saturday June 7th, from approximately 4 pm to 7. I've also invited those are attending to send in a mini-profile of themselves, so that we'll all be able to spot each other better down at the pub; you can send your own to cclapcenter [at] gmail.com. Here, the mini-profile of Chicago author Amy Güth, who's been featured at the CCLaP Podcast in the past.

Amy Güth is old-skool sassy

Name: Amy Güth

What do you do? Write novels and curate lit fests named after editing symbols.

What's your favorite thing about CCLaP? I can't help but (rather maturely, I might add) giggle when Jason Pettus is referred to as "CCLaP Jason".

What's the best thing about the Chicago arts? The winter sucks so badly here; we're forced to sit inside and write for months on end.

If you could buy anything for CCLaP on its first birthday, what would you get it? A set of Chicago literary action figures, complete with all the writers featured on CCLaP.
