Regular readers will of course remember Chicago author and CCLaP friend Ben Tanzer; he's been featured at the podcast before, plus his first novel was reviewed here last year. Anyway, last weekend was the official book-release party for his latest novel, the dark romantic comedy Most Likely You Go Your Way and I'll Go Mine, the first book by the new Orange Alert Press, run by another friend of CCLaP's, Jason Behrends. (In fact, that's Jason you see in the last photo above.) It was held over at the sadly-closing DvA Gallery in Lincoln Park, and I was lucky enough to get a chance to attend; and I had a really fun time, too, so thought I'd make a mention of it here and post a few photos. There's actually video of the event as well, over at both Ben's blog and the OA Press website, for those who would like to see more; and needless to say, I recommend picking up a copy of the book without delay! My congratulations to Ben, Jason, and everyone else who helped pull off such a successful event, and I wish them the best of luck with the novel.
