It's day four of the Ben Tanzer virtual book tour

Ben Tanzer virtual book tour 2009

Woo-hoo! It's day four of CCLaP's latest artistic experiment, a two-week "virtual book tour" being conducted by Chicago author Ben Tanzer, in support of the story collection Repetition Patterns that the center put out last fall. You can click here to read more about the tour if you'd like, including the entire schedule and what exactly a "virtual book tour" is anyway.

Today Ben is over at Jason Behrends' popular pop-culture journal What To Wear During An Orange Alert; and in fact today's entry starts a brand-new regular "author interviews author" feature over there at OA as well. In this case, Ben was interviewed by fellow Chicago author Pete Anderson, who just happened to host day one of this tour on top of everything else; the two end up talking about a whole variety of subjects, including the worst rejection Ben has ever received, what his daily writing habits are like, and what the chances are of him ever eventually teaching writing for a living.

Anyway, you can click here for the entire thing over at Orange Alert; and don't forget that tomorrow Ben will pulling into the virtual driveway of yet another Chicago author and CCLaP friend, Tim Hall of the alt-journalism memoir Full of It.
