Today's photo of the day is entitled "Invisible People," and is by a Flickr member who goes there just by her first name of Aditi. Aditi splits her time between India and the US, and in fact this is a shot from Chicago's own O'Hare Airport; according to her notes, she used an ND4 filter to dramatically drop the brightness of the surroundings, so that she could take an extra-long exposure and effectively make her fellow airport crowd disappear. That's a pretty interesting technique for getting rid of people in a busy environment; I hadn't thought of that before.
Don't forget that I actually maintain a whole page of favorite photographs over at Flickr, for those who would like to see more. To express an interest in having your own work featured, just drop me a line at cclapcenter [at] gmail.com.
