Today's photo of the day is entitled "Trump Tower," and is by Andy Reising. Andy is based here in Chicago, and in fact this image (as you can guess) is of the under-construction Trump Tower Chicago, located at the Chicago River downtown where the ugly old Sun-Times building used to be. (In fact, the paper will be moving back into the space after the building is finished, becoming one of the Tower's first tenants.) The building's been mired in controversy even since it was first announced years ago, with its chances of actually getting completed becoming more and more questioned, as the economy just keeps getting worse and worse.
Don't forget that I actually maintain a whole page of favorite photographs over at Flickr, for those who would like to see more. To express an interest in having your own work featured, just drop me a line at cclapcenter [at] gmail.com.
