Maiko is late to work, by Reynard Karman

Today's photo of the day is entitled "Maiko is late to work," and is by Reynard Karman. Reynard is based out of Singapore, and makes a point at his Flickr profile of mentioning that he's an amateur photographer only ("lots of fun doin it when it's not the way to make a living"); this particular image was taken in the Japanese city of Kyoto. Don't forget to stop by Reynard's main photostream for lots more intriguing images.
