Well, you'll be happy to know that last weekend's CCLaP royalty payout party went off without a hitch; around 15 people altogether got a chance to gather over at Lakeview's Uncommon Ground, where we were celebrating the center's first two published authors (Ben Tanzer and Sally Weigel) receiving their first $100 in royalties, noteworthy here because of both books being electronic ones only that are technically handed out for free. A few drinks were imbibed and much fun was had; I thank everyone who came out on such a blustery cold winter night (it was 24 freaking degrees, or negative freaking four Celsius), and hope that even more people will get a chance to come out as well to CCLaP's next social outing, coming probably this spring when the weather finally turns warm again.
