The Year In Books 2010: A CCLaP White Paper

Joyous day! The electronic book version of CCLaP's Year In Books report for 2010 is finally here! This is the sixth so-called "white paper" from the center in the three and a half years it's now been open; they're called such because they're not really original new standalone books, but rather reprints of longer essays that have already appeared at the website, bundled up in a more convenient format for those who prefer to read long-form work like this in a more traditional way (i.e. while not chained to your computer). As such, then, white papers are free and I don't make people jump through any hoops to download them; the direct links appear right on the book's online headquarters, although of course with an opportunity to send a voluntary payment for it as well if you'd like. Anyway, I hope you get a chance to download the version most appropriate for you; it comes in PDF versions for both American (8.5 x 11) and European (A4) laserprinters, an EPUB version for most e-ink devices, and a special MOBI edition that Amazon Kindle owners can load to their device via their USB cord.
