Check out this super-cool video for Chris Taylor's "Harvest Season!"

I heard this week from Chris Taylor, whose debut novel Harvest Season I reviewed very favorably here just a few months ago, to let me know that the book now has an official video online, featuring a studio-recorded reading from the story itself. Ah, but this is no ordinary video, but one that's been put together in this very lovely way, employing judicious use of strong still images and smart AfterEffects filters to jazz up what would otherwise be a fairly placid reading from the actual text. I was a big fan of it when I checked it out, and would like to encourage more writers to do videos like this when wanting to do some kind of "book commercial" for YouTube, which is why I'm linking to it here today. Enjoy!
