Happy day! The latest of CCLaP's special new "Hypermodern Editions," a series of high-quality, handmade paper editions of all our electronic books, is now available! It's for Sally Weigel's youth/war novella Too Young to Fall Asleep, originally put out back in 2009, which has done quite well for itself already just in ebook format, which is why I'm so excited to finally have the paper edition out. Like the rest of the Hypermodern Editions, these are hand-numbered and with signature/provenance pages, an extended Colophon in the back, a special color photo version of the original ebook's front cover in a dimpled space on the front, all sandwiched between handmade fabric-covered boards with decorative interiors, and held together with external Coptic stitching. (You can click here, by the way, for a special four-part photo essay on how these Hypermodern books are actually made.)
Anyway, as always, this book costs $US15 for the version with recycled paper, and $20 for one with cotton sheets; postage for Americans is $5, $13 for international customers (so in other words, the whole thing including shipping will be around 18 British pounds or 22 euros). All orders ship the next business day via USPS Priority Mail; delivery is usually three or four days for Americans, six to ten days for international customers, and Americans also receive a tracking number they can use online. You can click below to order one right now, which of course I highly encourage you to do. And don't forget that this will be one of the titles we'll be celebrating at CCLaP's big huge quadruple book release party, coming August 10th at Beauty Bar over in the Noble Square neighborhood, for those who would rather wait and pick up a copy then!
