Photography mini-feature: Bogdan Seredyak (2011)

One way out

Regular readers will remember Bogdan Seredyak, a Ukrainian architecture student currently studying in the US, and whose photography work was featured here last year. I thought I'd check in with Bogdan a year later, show off some of his latest images, and ask him for a little update on how everything has been going with him. Here's what he had to say...

"For the past year I've been traveling throughout Europe, mostly during the summer, since I'm in university during semester, thus some of the pictures are from all over Spain. During the rest of the year, I usually shoot close to where I live in North Jersey or NYC. Lately I've been taken by capturing a sense of place, rather then the subject. That's what I try to explore in my most recent work. I want to convey the atmosphere of whatever I'm shooting which a lot of the times is overlooked by passers by."

Good to hear, Bogdan! Remember, you can stop by his Flickr account or personal website to see a lot more of his remarkable work. And if you'd like your own work featured here, by all means drop me a line at cclapcenter [at] gmail.com and let me know!
