We're having a party for "Have You Seen Me!"

Have You Seen Me, by Katherine Scott Nelson

It's Katherine Scott Nelson Day at CCLaP! And of course, I would be remiss if I went a whole day talking about her new book with the center, the runaway coming-of-age novella Have You Seen Me, and didn't mention that we're actually throwing a release party soon for the book here in Chicago, one of the first times in CCLaP's history actually that we've had a chance to throw a party for the paper edition so soon after the release of the electronic edition. It's coming on Thursday, November 10th, and will be held at the great Women & Children First Bookstore at 5233 North Clark in the far-north Andersonville neighborhood, in our case while sharing the bill that night with touring lesbian mystery author JM Redmann. I've been a big admirer of WCF over the years, one of the few independent bookstores in Chicago to actually thrive during the dark "Borders Years," so I'm excited to be finally doing an event in their space. There's a Facebook page for the event if you'd like to join it, and of course an iCal export file for adding directly to your own calendar if you want, so I hope to see all you Chicagoans there!
