Hey, Chicagoans! Come out to the 'solo/down' release party this Thursday!

solo/down release party, June 21st

Hey, Chicagoans! I hope you'll have a chance to come out this coming Thursday, June 21st, to officially celebrate the release of Lauryn Allison Lewis's novella solo/down, which has technically been out since April but we're just getting around to celebrating now. It's taking place over at the great Cole's Bar in the Logan Square neighborhood (2338 N. Milwaukee), from 7 to 10 pm, and is being co-sponsored by our buddies over at Curbside Splendor where Lauryn works. Cupcakes! Music! Ten freaking performers! And hey, if you buy a book that night, you even get a free drink too! Stop by the Facebook event page if you're going, so we can all take a look at who's going to be there. I hope to see you then!
