Today's photography profile features the work of Brandie Wedderburn, a teen artist based out of Los Angeles. I asked Brandie if she'd tell us a little more about herself, and here's what she had to say...
"I'm a 17 year old photographer from Los Angeles, California. To me photography means capturing a moment that evokes emotion and priceless memories. It is also my way of communicating, sharing a vision and expressing myself not only as a photographer but primarily as an individual. At the age of eight I was introduced to the art of photography when I discovered the polaroid camera, but it wasn't until high school where I understood and truly appreciated photography for what it was. I started to take photographs because photography is my escape mechanism and it expresses the way I feel. But most importantly, they're how I see things and they're little moments in life that I cherish."
Thanks very much, Brandie! Don't forget, on top of her Flickr account, she also has one at Cargo Collective, so I encourage you to check them both out when you get a chance. If you know of a photographer who should be featured here, by all means drop me a line at cclapcenter [at] gmail.com and let me know.
