METAPOST: Check out this insanely complex map of CCLaP's peer network

CCLaP organizational chart as cloud map

I was recently interviewed by Chicago graduate student Lindsey Jancay for a class project, in which they each picked a local arts organization and mapped out the various complex connections that make that organization work; and while there's still plenty of tendrils you could add to a chart like this (just the local connections alone, and the other groups those people belong to, could create an infinite rabbithole impossible to escape), I have to admit that I love staring at this map that Lindsey has come up with, and looking at all the complicated connections and relationships that make a group like CCLaP work. You can click here for the full PDF, including clickable links to all the other groups mentioned; and if you have some time, I encourage you to map out your own group sometime like this, and to see the Gordian knot that holds together all the people and organizations of one particular local scene or another. Thanks for the hard work, Lindsey, and I hope you got a good grade on this!
