Today's photography profile features the work of Lucas Ottone, a young artist based out of the Spanish city of Mallorca. I asked Lucas if he'd tell us a little more about himself, and here's what he had to say...

"I was born in Mallorca in 1991. At the age of 16, my girlfriend gave me a digital camera as a birthday present. So I started taking pictures of her and my friends, and as the time went by I ended up with a nice collection of portraits. After getting a Minolta SR-T101 for film, I also became interested in urban photography. In my pictures I try to mix fashion within a casual and daily atmosphere. Photography, for me, represents a kind of personal diary, a way to remember beautiful instants in my day-to-day life. That's the reason why I try to erase the frontier between professional and personal work."

Gracias, Lucas! Don't forget, on top of his Flickr account Lucas also has a nice personal website; I encourage you to visit both whenever you have a chance. If you know of a photographer you think should be featured here, by all means drop me a line at cclapcenter [at] gmail.com and let me know!
