Our last show of the year is this Friday! Ken Kase sings and reads!

Words With Songs: An Evening with Ken Kase

Only four more days until CCLaP's last live show of the year! And that would be a special concert by St. Louis artist Ken Kase, entitled "Words With Songs," where he will be both playing some of his popular music and reading from his first book of poetry, Seven Sonnets, as well as telling stories about how the two relate to each other. And hey, need further convincing? Why not have a completely free copy of Seven Sonnets? Ken has graciously shared the ebook version with us, so you can right-click here to download the EPUB right this second, or right-click here to download the MOBI/Kindle file. More updates and freebies coming every day this week, so I hope you'll have a chance to come by regularly for more Kase goodness.

Remember, it's this Friday, November 15th, 7pm (performance starts at 7:30), at CCLaP's new Studio 505 performance space, a.k.a. my new apartment in the Uptown neighborhood. (It's approximately at 4200 N. Clarendon Avenue, one block east of Broadway and two blocks north of Irving Park Road; but since this doubles as my personal apartment, I don't post the actual address online, but rather send it by email to those who RSVP [cclapcenter at].) Free admission, free food, free liquor -- what more could you want?! Here's the Facebook listing, and here's the Google Calendar one, and here's the iCal one. I hope you'll have a chance to come out and help us end yet another very successful year!
